1. The families must obey strict rules to avoid discovery. Which rules ould be the hardest for you to follow?The rules that would be the hardest thing to follow would be the no talking thing from 9 to 6 o’clock. Then the no using the washroom from sertain hours to sertain hours.
Why? i think this because I’m a talker so I can’t be quite. Then I always have to use the washroom.

In scene 1, the things Mr. Frank finds in the secret rooms are things left behind by the people that were hiding. He found a white glove that belonged to Anne. He also found the scarf that Anne made him for Hanukkah.

These objects are connected with the rest of the act becausee they were given in a scene out of the act. They had some type of symbolic meaning.
3. What special meaning does Hanukkah have for the families?
The meaning that Hanukkah that is special is that Hanukkah means that they are free and can celebrate like when they were back before the war. It meant families coming together in the good times and bad times.

The present show that Anne is a loving person that she cares. It show’s that even in the worse conditions she finds hope and spreads it.

I think that the others acted with enthusiam to her gifts for different reasons for example in my piont of view some where being nice, while others actually enjoyed their gifts.

Anne true’s this statement because in her diary she writes that she still thinks that there are good people in this world. Through all that she was gone through she believes that there are good people. She also finds love in the situtation that she’s in. most people would of given up with their lives she made the most of it.

The historical reason in why the Franks went in to hiding was that the Nazi’s were killing any Jews or what they considered the “enemies of the state.”
B. What affects does this situation have on their daily lives?
The affect that this situation has on their daily lives is that they can’t go out so there stuck in between walls. Then the girls and Peter can’t go back to school, they won’t see their friends anymore. For the grown-ups they had to be mature and not show their fear. It affected them in many different ways.

I think that the effect that the Star of David had on the Jews that the Nazis’ intended was to make them feel as a minority. The star was to represent the lower class that they supposembly were.
B. What background information about the war and the Nazis’ treatment of the Jews helps you to link this cause with its intened effects? The bakground information that helps me link this cause to its affect would be the consentration camps. The forced labor that they had, then the worse one’s the extermination camps.

Dialoue: Reveals character and relationshiops: for example when Anne and Peter have those convensertions how the matured. this shows that Peter has changed his point of view of Anne. then this also shows that Anne is intrested in hearing about how she has changed not from the out-side but i the inside.
Advances the action of the plot: When Mr.Dussel wants to go to answer the phone in the offic thinking its the thieft asking for more money. Mr. Frank refuses to answer because then if its not the theift then they will find out there hiding.

How would you like haavng her as a friend?
I think that I would of liked having a frined like Anne. What I like best about Anne is her persenality. I like how she’s out-spoken and makes the most of everything.

The disturbing new that Mr.Krarler brings on New Years Day is that some one suspects that the Franks didn’t go to New Zeleand and that they are hiding.
B. what hint does this give about the ending of the play?
The hint that this gives us about the ending of the play is that they are discrovered that someone tells them that they are hiding.

The time spam was 1943-1945.
B. how have the characters changed since the end of Act I? the characters have changed because we see that Anne and Peter talk more to each other now. Mr. and Mrs. Frank seem more aware of things and are more cossies. Then Van Dan’s are kind of the same but Mr.Van Dan becomes more greety.
C. how do you know that Anne has changed?
We know tha Anne has changed because accurding to Peter she becomes more quiete. Then she becomes intrested in Peter. We also know that she has changes because she think back on how she treated her mother. She reflets on how bad she was to her.

I think that Anne believe this because she saw the good in Miep and Mr. Krarler. She saw how they risked their own lives to hide them and how they would bring them news and stufft hey need. She believed in that because she knew her dad was a good person for taking in Mr. Dussel. She saw the good side of things which made her believe that people where goo at heart.
B. what odes Mr.Frank mean when he says “She puts me to shame”?
what Mr.Frank means when he said that she puts him throught shame is that even she had more hope of things getting better than he did. She had hope in the end even things seem like theuy weren’t going to get any beter she had hope, he didn’t have much or any hope which got him to say that she put him trough shame.

I think that a cause that lead Mr. Van Daan to steal food is that he was hungry. In the diary it disribes that he is an offly large guy. With this discribetion we can tell that he is fat. Since he was hungry he stold the food to stop hearing his stomach grumble for food. The effect that this caused was that the people were taking sides and that they were going to start spliting everuthing inclluding the food equally.
(b) Mrs. Frank change of heart about wanting the Van Daans to leave. What may have caused Mrs.Frank to change her mind of kicking out the Van Daan at heart I think was how Anne reacted. She saw that it was one mistake that the father did, that this shouldn’t harm their relationship. The effect of this would be that they got more close to each other they saw that this was the real big arrgument that they had ever had in the two years that they were living in.
6. what are some possible causes of Mrs. Van Daan’s attitude towards Anne’s and Peter’s relationship?
Some cause of Mrs. Van Daans’ attitude towards the relationshio between Anne and Peter is that their both young and don’ t possimbly want them to do something they wil regret. Since their both young they don’t want to deal with things like them kissing or hugging I think that’s why Mrs.Van Daan had the attutide that she had about there relationship.

Three ways that they have been affected is that one they bairly had info money to buy food. Two that there where many people living in a one room apartment or attic. The third way that they have been affected is that both Anne, Peter and Margot have lost there childhood. They can’t go back and run around, play games with their frineds anymore.

Mr. Van Daan: steals the food.:he still felt hungry since his a big guy.
Peter Van Daan: he tlks more to Anne: he thinks she has matured more and is a bit more quiete.

I think that the motivation for someone to tell the authorities that a families is in hiding would be to gain something. For example if he’s a criminal then he may reseave less years or things like that.
