A Picture is Wirth a Thousand Words

i remember this day clearly. i was only 9 years old that day boy was i hungry. my mama had made her famous apple pie after some chien in the fire. my mama was one of the best in the town to mae pie's. she was one of the best in the state county fair. man did we have a ball. mama always told me that a women that didn't now how to cook wasn't a full women. also that a man was never allowed in the kitchen, unless they were eating. men always did the hard work while the women would stay home and take care of the house and children. when i went of to work in the field i also taught about the words mama told me.

she wanted me to learn how to read nad right but i saw that we need money in the house so i went to wor. after papa had died i had to take resonciabilities. i was 16 when i stared to work. boy was i happy when i received thosed full 75 cents. mama was real prode of me when i gave her those 50 sents wiht that she could buy little Eddy his colar shirt for his elementry graduation.

i was so prode boy little Eddy new how to read and write and do math boy would papa be prode of him. now he's off in the farm taking care of mama with his wife Catty. i now wored in a factory making railroad for old Mr.Carnegie. he was a staburn boss he won't listen to us, but he neec money and he did have good paying jobs. i have saved up for a painting that i loved for my house.

"Mary, Mary come see what i baught for the house."

"Now what Kenny. did you go off soending that money, i tod you not to go buy that fancy painting i don't anterstand the meaning of the painting."
