Kate Chopin

The Story of an Hour : in my point of view the women to me is understandable. if the men treated her bad an have total control over her then she had the right to be happy. at the end when she died i was shocked because the man came back alive and it said that they had checked twice to break the news to her. i taught that she was going to be free and i saw how bad she wanted her freedom. i liked how the author always has a twist in the end. like who would of taught that the lady was going to die of knowing that her husband wasn't dead. also who would of known she was going to be happy when he supposedly died. the story was okay but i really didn't like it. i don't know why it was interning but its not my type of favorite story.

The Blind Man : this story is a very political story in my point of view. when the story described the things and how they were hap ping the things reminded me of how the mistreat the incapacitate in Mexico (yet no offence to Mexico.) i could see how the people would just go on with there lives and not even notice this blind man. when the rich guy got runed-over everyone stopped and went to help him. this shows that if you have money and are important you will get attention. then what about all those poor people that have to straggle just to make it out one day. this isn't fair and i loved how she used a blind humbled man to show this from my point of view. i really liked this story because it talked about what we go on with in our own daily lives. this happens so quick that sometimes were not even aware of it. the way she goes about telling the reader the difference between a poor blind man and a rich man is amazing. she brings out the daily truth newspapers and TV try to hide from us when they talk about people that are different from us.

Desiree's Baby : Desiree's baby talks about topic that has been in history racism. the taught of you being superior than the other person just because of the color of your skin is so sad. how back then they were treated. Desiree's husband is a man with great power but also abuses it. he miss treats them just because of the color of there skin. no one knows that in him the same blood run in which those he miss treats. the topic is very interesting and has great details about how the act. i was shocked at the end when it was him and not her that had the blood of those of colored people. i never understood why be like this i mean we all are human and we all have feeling and emotions. then again this was a time of ignorance and superiority. i think that the author has a good point of view and gets here point trough.
